Living Room On Tour!

As part of the GM Live Well Spring Festival, we're taking the Offerton Park Public Living Room on tour!

On Sunday 22nd March, from 12pm to 4pm, we'll be popping up all over the estate with snacks, drinks, games, and a space to hang out with your neighbours for a bit.

We'll start in the south half of the estate, and work our way north, ending up at Offerton Parish Park on Half Moon Lane by 3.30pm or thereabouts.

Come and join us for five minutes or three hours - everyone is welcome! Let's keep our fingers crossed for lovely spring weather, but we'll be there whatever the weather! Look out for the bright yellow Public Living Room banner, or check our Facebook page to see where we've got to.

Public Living Room

On the last Sunday of the month, from 2.30pm to 5.30pm, the community centre lounge is a Public Living Room!

It's a free, no-agenda, welcoming space - anyone can come along and meet with others, share a cuppa and have a chat.

As they are mutual spaces, the folk that come along muck in to create it, from making the tea to tidying up at the end, or inviting someone to join in with a board game.

Send It Skatepark

Get ready to roll! The popular pop-up skate park is coming to Offerton community centre on the last Sunday of the month, completely free of charge. Join us from 3 to 5pm, bring your own wheels and gear or borrow ours.

Under 16s should be accompanied by an adult who can complete a waiver form on their first session.

Wavers Cafe

The Wavers Cafe is open every Thursday from 11am to 1pm for hot and cold drinks and delicious cakes and biscuits.

A great chance to chat, have a laugh and make new friends for all ages.

Park Play

Free family games and activities in the park, every weekend! ParkPlay is a new initiative in Stockport and we need a few volunteers to get the sessions off the ground. The more people who get involved, the fewer sessions each person will need to do. Free training and support provided, all the equipment and resources are included. Email fiona.berry@stockport.gov.uk to get involved!
